Episode 159 “Trust the Process”

Chuck ask about how to present YouTube videos for Ruby Rants. John mentions that YouTube is getting rid of annotations.  So cards are the next thing. Derick says that annotations did not work on mobile anyways. Cards work better.

Chuck says he says he is trying to organize things for his conferences about 6 months out, but his employees are occupied with regular work and emergencies.

So far he has   170 downloads since a day ago. Derick says he did notice that people have been using junk email address, just to get the download file.

Episode 135 “ The Dumpster Is On Fire”

Derick talks about his 38th birthday sale, and had 16 sales of the yearly subscription. John does some math, and says that Derick should maybe drop some prices on his subscriptions, because he found a price range that sells.

Josh says just change the prices without announcing the price change. Josh suggest to drop the prices incrementally, until he see sales come in. John says this is good new for finding a price range people are buying in.
